Christian Heritage Academy will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs last Saturday, then bounced right back against Faith Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over Faith Christian Academy. The Knights haven't had any issues with Faith Christian Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Ty Turner and Jake Bowles were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Turner pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Bowles struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). At the plate, Turner scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Bowles scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Wilson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with five RBI, three runs, and one double. EAGLES fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Crusaders since on Tuesday.
Roanoke Valley Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cayden Wayne, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Christian Heritage Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Roanoke Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Christian Heritage Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Roanoke Valley Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Christian Heritage Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Roanoke Valley Christian when the teams last played back in March, winning 7-4. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the EAGLES have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
