Portland Adventist Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dane Petersen led the charge by scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. Petersen hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Custer, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Catlin Gabel has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Portland Adventist Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
