Wilson was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from ninth to fifth in Northern Plains (8 Man). Earlier in the week, the Dragons defeated Tescott 82-34.
Wilson took down the Trojans 82-34 last week, the largest margin of any game. Marcus Denham ran for 303 yards and caught one passes for three yards in the win.
Southern Cloud's dynamic duo of Ryan Perkins and Dakota Cooper proved tough for Chase to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Perkins threw for 97 yards and one touchdown and Cooper had 92 yards receiving. Grady Brayton helped Southern Cloud's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.
Alex Borell made the biggest impact on defense this week as Tony Brokes's team defeated Tescott. The senior forced one fumble, recorded one fumble and grabbed one sack.
Wilson's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dragons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jordan Bess has thrown for 660 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Cole Zelenka has 20 catches for 254 yards. Denham leads the league in rushing with 569 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Natoma takes on Thunder Ridge. The Tigers are in 12th place, while the Longhorns are in first place.
