Chamblee gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They came out on top against the Clarkston Angoras by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chamblee took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12.

CeCe Curran paced Chamblee's offense, picking up seven kills. Curran got some help from Emmy Liang and her ten assists. Yana Barga controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Chamblee has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Druid Hills on the 9th. Clarkston has also already played their next contest (against Tournament Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
