The Riverside Bulldogs lost to the Leflore County Tigers on January 5th, but the Riverside Bulldogs didn't allow the Leflore County Tigers the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Riverside strolled past Leflore County with points to spare, taking the game 55-40.
Riverside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaron Stewart, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Stewart has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Otis Williams, who scored 11 points.
Riverside's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Leflore County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-13.
Riverside will take on North Side at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Side will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Leflore County, they will head out on the road to challenge O'Bannon at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. O'Bannon is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
