The Hicksville Aces's nine-game losing streak  came to an end  on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Gorham Fayette  and snuck past  51-48. Hicksville's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Hicksville found their leader in underclassman  Kennedy Adams, who  scored 25 points along with three  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Adams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hayden Neidhardt, who  scored 12 points along with six  rebounds.
 Hicksville's victory  ended a four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-10. As for Gorham Fayette, they bumped their record down to 2-9 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hicksville will  face off against Ayersville at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Ayersville will be coming into the  contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Gorham Fayette, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Pettisville at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Pettisville is coming into the  match hot, having won their last four games.
