The Atascadero Greyhounds will head out on the road to  square off against  the Taft Wildcats at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  both teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
 Atascadero will head into Friday's  contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big  last Friday (they won by ten) but  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  14-12  win over Templeton.
  Olivia Moscardi made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Moscardi has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Moscardi was also big at the plate,  firing off two  home runs and five  RBI while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Carmen Burrell was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Priscilla Allison, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Taft put the finishing touches on their 19th blowout victory of the season  on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  12-0 margin over Delano. Taft is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 12 straight.
 Like Atascadero, Taft also got a great game from a two-way player:  JADA MIZENER. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. MIZENER was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run.
 In other batting news,  CADENCE MIZENER and  KATELYNN MOORE did most of the damage at the plate:  MIZENER  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  MOORE  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and two  doubles.  HADLIE WILSON was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Atascadero is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record  this season. As for Taft, their victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 26-2-1.
 Both  the two teams just can't seem to miss. Atascadero has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 10.2  hits per game.
