The Triplains/Brewster Titans fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 52-43 victory over St. Francis on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Triplains/Brewster, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Triplains/Brewster got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Peterson out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Peterson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Koda Kvasnicka, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
Triplains/Brewster's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for St. Francis, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
Triplains/Brewster will look to defend their home court on Friday against Northern Valley at 7:30 p.m. Northern Valley is coming into the matchup with five straight losses on the road, meaning Triplains/Brewster will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for St. Francis, they will face off against Weskan on Monday.
