On Tuesday, Mendon didn't have too much trouble with Calhoun Christian at home as they won 52-34. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Mendon has managed all season.
Mendon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quincy Blair, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Blair also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Crites, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
The victory got Mendon back to even at 2-2. As for Calhoun Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mendon will square off against Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Calhoun Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Climax-Scotts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
