If Hendersonville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Oakland, they should've done a better job of containing Stella Logan. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the Commandos 2-1 on Friday for which the team can thank Logan, who had 15 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Natalie Walker and Allie James certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Walker had 11 digs and one assist, while James had seven digs.

Oakland now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hendersonville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Oakland and Hendersonville will both be playing Greenbrier the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Commandos will play them later in the day, at 8:30 p.m.
