If the Jupiter Christian Eagles were feeling good off their 78-56 takedown of the Master's Academy Patriots on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Jupiter Christian fell to Atlantic Christian 55-49. Jupiter Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Atlantic Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Conner Hoffman, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds. Hoffman scored a full 32.7% of Jupiter Christian's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Becker, who scored 12 points.
Jupiter Christian has fallen quite a ways from their 22-4 record last season and are now at 1-2. As for Atlantic Christian, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jupiter Christian will take on Berean Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Atlantic Christian, they will be playing at home against Park Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
