If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Hoquiam. On Friday they take on Tenino at 7:00 PM. Hoquiam have yet to lose; Tenino, on the other hand, are desperate for their first victory.
Hoquiam had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 28-20 win over Columbia. Senior Payton Quintanilla was the offensive standout of the match for Hoquiam, as he passed for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Tenino have to be hurting after a devastating 0-21 loss at the hands of Seton Catholic last Saturday.
Hoquiam's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Tenino's defeat dropped them down to 0-4. Tenino's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Hoquiam defensive front that amassed four sacks against Columbia, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
