Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Reagan

Reagan won the last time they faced Glenn, and Jayden McCrae did his part to make sure it happened again. The Reagan Raiders strolled past the Glenn Bobcats with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 64-49 thanks in part to McCrae, who went 10 for 16 en route to 30 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Those three blocks gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Glenn still got an impressive performance from Zyire Murphy, who posted 17 points and four steals. Murphy is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Derrek Griffin, who earned 14 points and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Reagan and bumps their season record up to 10-7. As for Glenn, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

When Reagan and Glenn next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Reagan will try to stop Davie's three-game winning streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Reagan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.8 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Glenn will square off against West Forsyth and their three-game winning streak at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
