Broderick Vehrs Dazzles in Basha Victory
Starting off the list is Basha's Broderick Vehrs, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vehrs threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Basha pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Vehrs and Basha will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Gio Richardson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Basha to the win on Friday. Richardson picked up 183 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 89 yards.
Hamilton had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Richardson it was a similar story. When Richardson last faced the Huskies back in October of 2023, he picked up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Casteel Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Paul Palmer
Paul Palmer was instrumental in extending Casteel's winning streak to three on Friday. Perry had no answer to Palmer as he threw for 211 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Palmer might just drop another big game when he faces off against Chandler on Friday. Palmer rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 199 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Wolves duked it out back in September of 2023.

Rich Lucero Jr. put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 143 yards and a touchdown.
Lucero Jr. is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Casteel on Friday. Lucero Jr. threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 60 yards the last time he and the Colts duked it out back in October of 2023.
