Football Recap: Central Catholic Starts Season with Loss at Home

Central Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Walsh Jesuit Warriors by a score of 17-14 on Friday. The Fighting Irish were right on the edge of victory: they outscored the Warriors in the fourth quarter 8-0.

Coming up, Central Catholic will face off against Cass Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walsh Jesuit, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Clarkson N at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
