Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-18, which was the final score in Lee's tilt against Barbers Hill on Friday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lee in their matchups with Barbers Hill: they've now lost seven in a row.
Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Lee, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
Everything went Sterling's way against Lee in their previous meeting back in January of 2022 as Sterling made off with a 60-36 win. Will Sterling repeat their success, or does Lee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
