Loveland is 2-7 against Broomfield since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Friday. The Loveland Red Wolves will look to defend their home court  against the Broomfield Eagles at 6:30  p.m. Loveland will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 175th, while Broomfield is ranked 32nd).
 Last Tuesday, Loveland came up short against Fairview  and fell  57-46.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Broomfield gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding  63-32 victory over Prairie View at home. The  win was nothing new for Broomfield as they're now sitting on six straight.
 Broomfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Ej Harper, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and nine  rebounds. It was the first time this season that  Harper  pulled down eight or more  rebounds.  Olivia Kim was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with two  steals.
 Loveland has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last seven games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Broomfield, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
 Loveland took a serious blow against Broomfield  when the teams last played  back in February of 2023, falling  69-36. The  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Loveland was down  45-19.
