After both having extra time off, the Academy of Central Florida National Golden Bulls and the Forest Lake Academy Panthers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Academy of Central Florida National will be strutting in after a victory while Forest Lake Academy will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Wednesday, everything went Academy of Central Florida National's way against Lyman as Academy of Central Florida National made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Bulls.
While Academy of Central Florida National won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 26-24.

Academy of Central Florida National's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Samuel Ortega, who had 21 digs and two aces, and Luciano Carrillo, who had 41 assists and seven digs. Those two aces gave Ortega a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Forest Lake Academy came up short against Apopka last Thursday and fell 3-1. The Panthers have struggled against the Blue Darters recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 21-25, 25-22, 25-19.
Despite the loss, Forest Lake Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ethan Hazen had 14 digs. Hazen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last five games he's played.
Forest Lake Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Academy of Central Florida National, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
