Bishop Shanahan was beaten by Pope John Paul II 42-14. Bishop Shanahan was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.
Boyd Skarbek got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Skarbek is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Braden Reed also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Bishop Shanahan has yet to win a match on the road this season, leaving them with a 6-6 record. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Pope John Paul II, Downingtown West, and Coatesville. As for Pope John Paul II, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
