The Dobson Mustangs had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by a 58-35 margin over Cibola. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dobson also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Leading Dobson to victory were Ahdiayh Chee #23 and Amya Malone. Chee #23 scored 15 points, while Malone scored 10 points along with 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaziah Billey, who scored 6 points along with 7 assists.
Dobson's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Cibola, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Dobson will take on Mater Dei Catholic at 8:00 p.m. on November 29th. As for Cibola, they will head out on the road to face off against Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th.
