The South Bulldogs entered their tilt with the East Tigers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. South took down East 54-37 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as South also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2019.
South's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Takhia Angus, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Emani Tynes was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds.
South's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South will take on Hamilton Township at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hamilton Township is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for East, they will be playing at home against Columbus International at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
