The Liberty Christian Minutemen's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Samueli Academy, falling 52-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Liberty Christian has scored all season.
Haset Seyoum was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds for Samueli Academy. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Coughlin, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Liberty Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Samueli Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.
Liberty Christian will head out on the road to square off against Calvary Chapel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Chapel will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Samueli Academy will take on Vista Meridian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
