The Pendleton Heights Arabians are taking a road trip to take on the Yorktown Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Pendleton Heights is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Delta: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Arabians blew the Eagles out of the water with a 49-6 final score. That's two games straight that the Arabians have won by exactly 43 points.

Pendleton Heights' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Joel Weaver, who rushed for 193 yards and three scores on only 11 carries, and Brandt Gray, who rushed for 147 yards and one TD on only eight carries. Those 147 rushing yards gave Gray a new career-high.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Pendleton Heights was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 371 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Pendleton Heights' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jacob McKinley, Eli Poore, and Michael Emeish, who each picked up one sack apiece.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Yorktown and Greenfield-Central have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Tigers blew past the Cougars, posting a 35-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Tigers have posted against the Cougars since October 4, 2019.
A big part of Yorktown's victory came down to the chemistry between Sam Tokar and his top target Kaden Crumes. Tokar threw for 151 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes while Crumes rushed for 68 yards and a pair of TDs.
Pendleton Heights pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 36.4 points this season. As for Yorktown, their record now sits at 6-1.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Pendleton Heights has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 193.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Yorktown struggles in that department as they've been averaging 165.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Pendleton Heights against Yorktown in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-20 win. In that contest, the Arabians amassed a halftime lead of 26-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
