Basketball Recap: Pearsall Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Pearsall entered their tilt with Carrizo Springs on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They skirted past the Carrizo Springs Wildcats 55-52. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-65 back in December of 2024.

Pearsall's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xavier Rendon, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 22 rebounds. That's the most boards Rendon has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Rodriguez, who posted 14 points.

Pearsall smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Pearsall has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. As for Carrizo Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-12.

Pearsall will square off against Pleasanton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Pearsall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Carrizo Springs, they will take on Floresville at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
