There's no place like home for the Jefferson Panthers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down Lone Peak 65-49 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Jefferson also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Hunter Stevens, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Lee, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Jefferson pushed their record up to 8-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Lone Peak, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Jefferson will head out on the road to square off against Manhattan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lone Peak, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ennis at 7:00 p.m.
