The Hawkins Hawks came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 21 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by Harleton at home to the tune of 75-35. Hawkins has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 25 points or more this season.
Boston Conner was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with six assists and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Paul Smith was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Hawkins' victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 42 points. As for Harleton, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
Hawkins will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Linden-Kildare comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last 12 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Harleton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Rebels at 7:30 p.m. Ore City is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
