There's no place like home for the Collinsville Pirates, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down Lindsay 64-47 on Friday. With that victory, Collinsville brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Carter Scott was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Landon Carpenter, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Collinsville's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Lindsay, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Era the next time they take the court. Lindsay will head out to face Era at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Collinsville will host them at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
