Northwest had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Thoreau Hawks get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Hawks on Tuesday, they had to take a 9-4 loss.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Thoreau, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest will face off against Navajo Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.81 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Thoreau, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Zuni at 3:00 p.m.
