It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Archbishop Moeller ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Fairmont Firebirds 6-5. The victory was familiar territory for the Fighting Crusaders, who have now won three games in a row.

Archbishop Moeller's win bumped their record up to 17-3-1. As for Fairmont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Moeller will venture away from home to challenge Dixie Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fairmont, they will head out to face off against Springboro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
