The Water Valley Wildcats had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Iraan with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-13. The victory was just what Water Valley needed coming off of a 37-0 loss in their prior matchup.
Water Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Iraan, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Water Valley will take on McCamey at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Iraan, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Eldorado at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th.
