North Iredell hadn't done well against St. Stephens recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 7-0 victory. Considering the Raiders have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Will Oehler was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Xavier Burgess was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

North Iredell's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for St. Stephens, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.

North Iredell will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
