While losing is never fun, Kenton Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 697th, while London is ranked 344th).
Despite the defeat, Kenton Ridge saw an underclassman step up: Summer Swords dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Swords has scored all season.
Kenton Ridge's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-14. As for London, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kenton Ridge will take on Jonathan Alder at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for London, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Tecumseh at 1:30 p.m.
