The Beamer Titans can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Auburn Riverside 74-32 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Beamer who now have eight in a row.
Beamer's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Tellis, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Tellis also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Avion Mclemore was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Auburn Riverside had strong showings from Leroy Kinnay, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals, and Anthony S alperov, who scored six points. That's the first time this season that Kinnay pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Beamer pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.33 points. As for Auburn Riverside, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beamer will take on Auburn Mountainview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Auburn Mountainview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 130th, while Beamer is ranked 39th). As for Auburn Riverside, they will be playing at home against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Jefferson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
