Despite the loss, Douglass still got an impressive performance from Solomon Lewis, who went 9 of 18 en route to 26 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Lewis has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of CeeJay Oram, who posted five points along with seven boards and three steals.
Douglass' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2. As for Largo, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Douglass will be playing at home against King's Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Largo, they will head out on the road to square off against Potomac at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Potomac has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 176 points over their last three games.
