Even though the Purvis Tornadoes scored an imposing 63 points on Monday, the Columbia Wildcats still came out on top. Columbia snuck past the Tornadoes with a 69-63 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Columbia.
Purvis lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Judd Gipson, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Bredren Elenus, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Columbia's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Purvis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-8.
Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Purvis also has no future games currently scheduled.
