Lapel got a great performance from Ava Zdanowski as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. Zdanowski has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Paige Stires was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Addison Bodenhorn was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
