 In other batting news, Whitewright let  Cale Clark and  Clayton Jones run wild. Clark  scored two  runs and  stole  Two bases. while going 2-for-4, while  Jones  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI. Whitewright is undefeated when  Clark posts two or  more  runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Kason Dodson, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
Whitewright's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Electra,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Coming up, Whitewright will host Honey Grove  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Electra, they will venture away from home to  take on Saint Jo  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
