Bellbrook and Monroe are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Bellbrook Golden Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Monroe Hornets at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Bellbrook is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Bellbrook came up short against Franklin and fell 61-52.
Meanwhile, Monroe was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 57-52 to Madison.
Bellbrook now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Monroe, they now also have a losing record at 7-8.
Bellbrook was able to grind out a solid victory over Monroe in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 70-59. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bellbrook since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
