Johnson Central found their leader in sophomore Brayden Shepherd, who to rack up 28 points and four steals. The matchup was Shepherd's tenth in a row with at least 18 points. Mason Mckenzie was another key player, on his way to 22 points and three steals.
Magoffin County's record now sits at 7-21. As for Johnson Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
