Silverton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wilsonville Wildcats on Friday, sneaking past 35-32. The victory was nothing new for the Foxes as they're now sitting on four straight.

When it comes to explaining why Wilsonville lost, don't look at Roman Kealoha. Despite the final result, he rushed for 222 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 35 yards and one touchdown.

Silverton's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Wilsonville, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-2.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Silverton will welcome Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars' defense has only allowed six points per game this season, so the Foxes' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Wilsonville, they will venture away from home to challenge Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
