Villa Grove scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They skirted past Heritage 36-33. The win was just what Villa Grove needed coming off of a 51-29 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Blue Ridge suffered a tough 42-17 defeat at the hands of Argenta-Oreana on Monday. Blue Ridge has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Villa Grove's victory bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Villa Grove beat Blue Ridge 31-20 in their previous matchup back in January of 2022. Will Villa Grove repeat their success, or does Blue Ridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
