Forest Hills hasn't had much luck against Parkwood recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets will host the Wolf Pack at 6:00 p.m. Parkwood took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Forest Hills, who comes in off a win.
Forest Hills is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 23-1 margin over Monroe on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Yellow Jackets as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Lylah Starnes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Starnes was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (two).

In other batting news, Laurieyata Cuthbertson was a standout: she scored three runs and stole six bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those six stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Aubrey Horne was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.
Forest Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .795. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monroe only posted an OBP of .250.
Meanwhile, Parkwood fell victim to Piedmont and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Panthers. The Wolf Pack haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Parkwood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brinley Parker, who went 2-for-3 with one double.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-16. As for Parkwood, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
