They took their game at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 79-34 victory over Hampton. With that win, McCool Junction brought their scoring average up to 63 points per game.
McCool Junction's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Briann Stutzman led the charge by scoring 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenna Yates, who scored 12 points along with 6 steals.
The win got McCool Junction back to even at 1-1. As for Hampton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
