West Valley have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They are leaving WA behind and heading out of state to face off against Cheney at 7:00 PM. West Valley will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
West Valley put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They made easy work of Pullman and carried off a 54-27 win. The win was familiar territory for West Valley, who now have five in a row.
Meanwhile, after constant struggles on the road, Cheney have finally found some success away from home. They were the clear victor by a 37-15 margin over Trinity Academy. Cheney were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Cheney to 2-6 and West Valley to 6-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
