The Leominster Blue Devils's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Leominster is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wachusett Regional in Massachusetts (Leominster is ranked 16th, while Wachusett Regional is ranked 185th).
Leominster posted their biggest victory yet this season on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Millbury as Leominster made off with a 68-43 win.
Meanwhile, Wachusett Regional's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 57-50 to Algonquin Regional.
Leominster's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Wachusett Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Leominster beat Wachusett Regional 58-49 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Leominster repeat their success, or does Wachusett Regional have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
