The Covenant Knights will head out on the road to take on the Brook Hill Guard at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Covenant is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Saturday, Covenant beat the Chargers 59-48.
Covenant relied on the efforts of Dobson Beaird, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, and Brady Shahan, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josh Hook, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Brook Hill earned a 48-39 win over the Chargers on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brook Hill.
Covenant's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Brook Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.
Covenant came up short against the Guard in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 40-36. Can Covenant avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
