Naugatuck Valley - Brass recap September 17, 2013
Seymour's Joey Salemme rumbled for the longest rushing play in Naugatuck Valley - Brass this season in his game against Amity Regional last week. Salemme ran for 63 yards on the play and finished with 228 on the day as his team lost to the Spartans.
Ansonia was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fourth in the league. The Chargers vanquished Torrington 52-7 earlier in the week.
Derby's dynamic duo of Michael Kreiger and Tyler Dobek proved to be unstoppable against St. Paul Catholic, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Kreiger threw for 161 yards and 2 touchdowns and Dobek had 92 yards receiving. Ryan Landona helped Derby's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 42 yards.
The Red Raiders' dynamic duo of Kreiger and Dobek proved tough for the Falcons to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Dobek was the best wideout in the league this week as Derby bested St. Paul Catholic.

Salemme was the best running back in Naugatuck Valley - Brass this week. Teammate Jack Briggs added to the ground attack by rushing for 44 yards.
