DeLand-Weldon won the last time they faced Calvary Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

While DeLand-Weldon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 27-25.

DeLand-Weldon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellie Hayward, who had seven digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Roos, who had 17 assists and five digs.

They weren't the only good servers: DeLand-Weldon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calvary Christian Academy only served one.

DeLand-Weldon's record is now 13-16. As for Calvary Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-17.
