Kingman has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They walked away with a 31-20 win over Tonopah Valley on Wednesday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kingman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katie Shull, who scored eight points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Teagin Lewis, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, American Leadership Academy - West Foothills unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 54-46 to Parker. American Leadership Academy - West Foothills has struggled against Parker recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Kingman's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for American Leadership Academy - West Foothills, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.
