The Reardan Screaming Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They strolled past Wellpinit with points to spare, taking the game 55-36. That 55-36 margin sets a new team best for Reardan this season.
When it comes to explaining why Wellpinit lost, one person who can't be blamed is Danea Norman . Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Norman scored a full 44.4% of Wellpinit's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Rayah Hill, who scored ten points.
Reardan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wellpinit, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reardan will square off against Asotin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Asotin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Wellpinit won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lake Roosevelt at 7:15 p.m. on December 29th.
